Various pictures of my girlfriend and mine’s cat, Lucy—who happens to have been used for many album covers—that I’ve tweaked and done various things with, including the album covers, and just any others I’ve taken of her that I want to include here. Enjoy!

This was taken when Angie and myself were climbing into bed and Lucy was on a chair that was in our room at the time sitting on the arm just starring at us, watching. It definitely gave us both the creeps and laughs just because we hadn’t had Lucy for very long, maybe a month or two. This ended up solidifying how her personality would be and just how great of a cat she is. Her being extra weird, creepy and off-putting in this picture was the biggest factor in choosing this to be able to convey just the heaviness and thick atmosphere of the EP.

This was more of a random picture of Lucy, most are, where she was just looking cozy and adorable. This wasn’t supposed to be the cover for this album, however. When it was announced that Steam Boat Willy was now public domain I thought about using that on an album cover—but tweaked—entitled the Steamboat Sessions but I decided against it and renamed it to what it is now. Then I essentially landed on this picture of Lucy that I felt best encompassed what I was looking for with the change.

Another random picture of Lucy but this time being silly. When it came to figuring out what to use for this album cover, I wasn’t sure what I wanted. I had gone through a bunch of pictures on my phone and I ended up deciding this one felt the *most* right to use.

Lucy had stolen from me a pair of old boot strings that became her favorite toy. This, here, is when we were playing together around when she developed a habit of yanking on the string whenever her and I would play together—almost like tug-of-war. I took this picture for Angie since she wasn’t around and Lucy being the diva she is, can be difficult when she plays cos she will only play so long with people. I chose this picture for the album because of that as well as this album was a fun album and I really wanted to convey that.

First cover I got a little more exploratory with by cutting and combining a picture of Lucy with another one. I don’t remember where it came from other than Lucy was definitely yawning and this was a perfect capture. The other picture is of Lucy hiding/napping in some living room curtains that was her spot in the home for a long time.
